My first gift is to share

Connected People

I am so lucky that I get to hang out with the most amazing minds imaginable. The weekend before I started this Blog I was in a small invitation only gathering including:

Seth Godin - One of the worlds most influential marketers (via live satellite feed)
Claude Lewenz - Author of ‘How to Build a Village’ (truly inspiring!)
Michael Henderson - Corporate Anthropologist
Nigel Marsh - Founder of Earth Hour
Janine Allis - CEO and founder of Boost Juice
David Bussau AM - Founder of Opportunity International - Microloans to the poor in developing countries.

Some of the names are not found in traditional media, but these are the people who shape the world. It is kind of name dropping, but of people you may not have heard of. Another example is Craig Rispin, a Futurist. A What! Yes, he looks for trends to predict the future, especially in business and technology.

I am going to deliberately go up to the highest questions about life and the universe, right down to the nitty gritty of how to use an RSS feed to stay in touch with the world. The link is that we seem to live in the middle, the tools pass us by, and at the same time our life does too. I want people to link their lives (the why) with the tools (the how). The tools could be anything from meditation to social networks over the Internet.

No stain removing tips, nor celebrity chatter. It’s about you and the tools to connect you with yourself and others.

There is no pre-defined order, no plan beyond what I’ve explained, why? because I’ll be dragging things down from the internet as it happens, I’ll also be adding my own spin as experiences occur.

Here we go - glad your here.
